Secondary Publications
Scientific publications that have already appeared as a monograph, in an edited volume or in a specialist journal can be published as a secondary publication in open access repositories under certain circumstances. This increases the visibility of your publications and ensures permanent access.
Many publishers now allow this type of publication. However, it is important to note that there are embargo periods between the publisher-bound first publication and the Open Access provision. We will be happy to support you, for example by assigning identifiers such as DOI.
The SHERPA/RoMEO database can be used to find out to what extent publishers allow parallel publication.
