Study rooms (carrels)
The library offers 52 single carrels, four double carrels and four group carrels. The rooms are equipped with data sockets and monitors to which your personal notebooks can be connected. The use of all study rooms is free of charge.
Additional rules (German only) apply to the study rooms.
Daily and double carrels
- Are available to all users with a valid library membership.
- Are handed out on a first-come-first-served basis without prior reservation.
- The keys are available at the service desk on the ground floor.
Monthly carrels
- Are available to all students for the preparation of scientific theses.
- Can be booked for a period of one to four weeks.
- Please use our web form. or contact our colleagues at the service desk to make a reservation.
- The keys are available at the service desk on the ground floor.
Group carrels
- Are available to all users with a valid library membership.
- Can be used by groups from 3 to 20 persons for 4 hours per day.
- Please use our web form or contact our colleagues at the service desks to make a reservation.
- The keys are available at the service desk on the ground floor.
- You are welcome to use the SmartBoards in the rooms. Additional accessories are available at the circulation desk. You can find drivers for the SmartBoards here: Windows, Debian, Ubuntu precise, Ubuntu trusty and Mac.
